Do you want to know more about finding a PA, getting a direct payment or personal health budget, moving into supported living, accessing health and social care services, or receiving care and support?
Do you have lived experience either as a user of services or family carer that might help other people make the right choice for them?
If the answer is “YES” to any of these questions, then our Peer Expert project could be for you!
Choices and Speakeasy are offering this opportunity to people with a learning disability and/or autism, mental health issues, older people and people with a physical disability or sensory issues. Our colleagues at Carers Together will be working with family carers or anyone who would prefer to be supported by them rather than advocacy.
Peer Experts can be supported by advocates if required, and can opt to receive a payment in line with the Hampshire County Council Service User Carer and Involvement policy.
