The hub is a partnership of community based, independent organisations that have been providing county wide statutory and non statutory advocacy in Hampshire since the 1990s. We have been working together to deliver services since 2007.
Partner organisations are established in local communities and part of networks for the voluntary and statutory sector including specialist and mainstream services. Our organisations include Trustees with lived experience.
We have expertise in complex Advocacy and Life Planning casework using our highly skilled workforce with a range of professional qualifications and experience in areas such as social work, health and law.
All our advocates have achieved the Independent Advocacy Award . All partner organisations work to the Advocacy Code of Practice and use the NDTI Advocacy Outcomes to evidence the impact of our work. We are signed up to the Hampshire Learning Disability and Autism and Mental Health Charters.
We work as a strategic partner with the local authority and health, including at Board membership level, in order to influence and effect change on behalf of the vulnerable adults and children we work with.
