We are a consortium of community based, independent organisations that have been providing county wide statutory and non statutory advocacy in Hampshire since 2007. We offer a blended advocacy approach including instructed, non instructed, rights based, self advocacy and peer advocacy to over 3,000 people a year.
Consortium members are part of local communities and networks for the voluntary and statutory sector including specialist and mainstream services. They include Trustees with experience of services and family carers.
We share expertise across a flexible workforce of 40 staff with a range of professional qualifications and experience in areas such as social work, health, law, youth work and business.
We are accredited with City & Guilds to deliver the Independent Advocacy Award using our in house assessment team who themselves are qualified and experienced Advocates. All consortium members work to the Advocacy Code of Practice and will be using the NDTI Advocacy Outcomes to evidence the impact of our work.
We work as a strategic partner with the local authority and health, including Board membership, in order to influence and effect change on behalf of the vulnerable adults and children we work with.
