Self Advocate

“You drew the attention of all the professionals on to the needs and wishes of the children. It appears that this intervention and your further work with the children has meant a way forward was found where the children’s wishes and feelings have been realised and the Local Authorities concerns have been worked through. My view is that your work shows the true value advocacy can have on the lives of children in care.”

Office of the Children’s Commissioner

“I have a big responsibility to represent other people including the ones with complex needs.”

“I have become more powerful and influential.”
